We are proud to announce the 39th Annual Taste of Mobile at 6:00 PM, Tuesday October 18, 2016 hosted by the Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Restaurant Association.  The event will be held at the Mobile Marriot near the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Bel Air Boulevard.  Proceeds from Taste of Mobile will benefit a scholarship program to be awarded to graduates of Murphy High School’s culinary program that intend to pursue higher education in the culinary arts.  The funds raised from the evening will be held in trust in the Charitable Foundation of the Alabama Restaurant Association and distributed to winning candidates each year.  

The Taste of Mobile will be an evening of fine dining presented by some of the best restaurants and beverage operations in the Mobile and Baldwin County area.  There will be a seven course meal served and paired with the appropriate beverage.  The evening will begin with a reception featuring appetizers from 6:00 to 6:30 and dinner will be served at 7:00.  Tickets are $100.00 each and you can reserve a table of eight for $750.00.   

The Mobile Restaurant Association is looking forward to hosting this evening of great dining with a chance to experience the culinary skills in our area.  Jeremy Weaver from Murphy High School will be present to announce courses and beverage pairings.  He will also be available to answer questions attendees may have about the program at Murphy High School.
